Terms and Conditions for Tuition


1. Fees for the tuition are payable by bank transfer before the first class . A receipt will be provided upon request. The lesson package is automatically renewed unless otherwise specified by the client any time during the package but no later than the penultimate lesson.

2. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be billed in whole to the client.

3. Up to 2 cancellations are allowed during the 10 hour package. Subsequently, lessons will be fixed one by one at a mutually convenient time and day that might differ from the previously agreed upon date.

4. Scheduled tutorials will always take place on the day and time and venue specified, unless a tutorial is rearranged for a time that is mutually convenient to both tutor and student.

5. We strive to provide the best possible service. However, We will not be held accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof demonstrated by the student/client. Although We will do everything in our power to help grades and skill sets improve, we can offer no guarantee thereto.

6. We are not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive or similar damages arising out of use of our tutoring service, or any errors or omissions in the content of our materials. You the client specifically waive any and all claims arising out of the use of this tutoring service.

7. All materials given are copyright. You agree that you will not publish or distribute any portion of any materials without prior written permission from me.

8. The 10 lessons must be taken in full within the following 6 months for the 10 lesson package, 1 year for the 30 lesson one. There will be no refund for untaken lessons.

9. As we totally depend on the state of the Geneva traffic works, we might be delayed by a few minutes and cannot always text to warn. Thank you for your understanding. We always text when we are really late.


Characteristics of the DELF and the DALF

• All DELF DALF diplomas are independent from each other.

• DELF DALF diplomas are valid for life and all over the world.

• Skills are tested at each graduation DELF DALF (oral and written expression, oral and written understanding).

• The hours necessary for the preparation of each DELF DALF diploma are as follows:

DELF A1: 80 hours from beginner level
DELF A2: 160 hours from beginner level (100 hours from DELF A1)
DELF B1: 310 hours from beginner level (150 hours from DELF A2)
DELF B2: 490 hours from beginner level (180 hours from DELF B1)
DALF C1: 690 hours from beginner level (200 hours from DELF B2)
DALF C2: 890 hours from beginner level (from the DALF C1 200 hours)

(These numbers include personal time devoted to learning: homework, reading, writing, listening and interacting with other French speakers, through chat or activities)
